Welcome to the Australian Endometriosis Alliance

Improving the lives of women with endometriosis

Endometriosis is a common chronic debilitating disease that impacts the health and well-being of >830,000 Australian women. Diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis is clinically challenging with each woman experiencing a unique disease trajectory.

Our Alliance is dedicated to discovering and developing improved diagnostics and early treatments to help clinicians and allied health professionals provide women with better personalised care for endometriosis.

The Alliance unites clinicians, researchers, and patients with a common purpose of supporting discovery and translation research across Australia to implement the goals of the National Action Plan and improve the lives of women with endometriosis.

The Australian Endometriosis Alliance arose from discussion among groups in Australia working on a set of overlapping research projects. We are an open alliance and welcome other groups and interested researchers to join.
